The 13th running of our fundraising event is due to take place again over the weekend of Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th June and we are due to pass through this parish on the Saturday between 8.30am and 10.30am.
The event has become a hugely important part of the fundraising activity for Ryedale Special Families, raising in excess of £30,000 last year and a total in the region of £250,000 over the years.
The route follows the waymarked Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route covering 72 miles each day, with an overnight camp at Hutton Cranswick Sports Fields.
It’s not a race, it’s a non-competitive leisure ride, following the strict guidelines set out by British Cycling, and to minimise congestion we set riders off in small groups so they are well spread out.
